Marcel Boiteux Best International Energy Economics Book Award
Press RELEASE
Creation of the Marcel Boiteux Best International Energy Economics Book Award.
As proposed by the President and the Vice-President of the F-AEE, and with the consent of President Boiteux, Christophe Bonnery submitted to the IAEE (International Association for Energy Economics) Council for consideration the creation of an international award on behalf of President Boiteux. We are pleased to announce that the Council has unanimously approved this proposal.
This Award will be granted for an international book in energy economics. It will be chosen from among the books listed by our international institution, which is represented in more than 110 countries. The IAEE Council met in Auckland, New Zealand, a world away from France, symbolising the international scope of this distinction
In addition, the international conference of our community of energy economists will be held for the first time in our history in France this year.
The first Marcel Boiteux International Award will be given there. We will therefore have had the pleasure of inviting President Boiteux to present the Award in person at the Palais des Congrès, Porte Maillot in Paris.

The Chairman of the Award Committee for the selection of the nominee is David Knapp, Past President of IAEE.
