Symposium Monaco Electric Vehicles & Renewable Energies
From IAEE Energy Forum article – IAEE EVER Monaco 2020 Symposium
On September 10, 2020, IAEE organized a symposium "Positive Energy Territories and Electromobility" during the international conference EVER Monaco 2020 in the Principality of Monaco. In addition to representatives of the international scientific community, many important actors from the energy, automotive, political and legal sectors were also present during the discussions.
The symposium was opened by introducing the general issue raised by IAEE President Christophe Bonnery, followed by words of support from Monaco's Minister Plenipotentiary for Sustainable Development Affairs, H.E. Mr. Bernard Fautrier.
This conference was structured in 2 days.
The first day was devoted to Renewable Energies, networks, self-consumption: what synergies with electromobility? It was organized around two sessions:
- POSITIVE ENERGY TERRITORIES: THE CONDITIONS FOR SUCCESS ;
- NETWORKS AND ELECTRIC VEHICLES (VE): WHAT SYNERGIES FOR A TERRITORY?.
The second day focused on Governance and regulation, the conditions for harmonious development. It was organized around three sessions:
- WHAT PLACES FOR GOVERNANCE: FROM ACTORS TO USERS;
- FINANCING AND REGULATION;
- TECHNOLOGY AND ENERGY SOBRIETY
